Weinhaus Schreiner in Mainz

I ordered a small menu for a virtual birthday party for four different households. What can I say, everything is great, ready on time, packed in four boxes, totally fresh and delicious. Thank you for accompanying my birthday party with culinary success!

The food is spectacular accompanied by an exquisite and endearing service. Eating with the family at Weinhaus Schreiner is a very dear tradition for us.

The Weinhaus Schreiner looks very inconspicuous at first, but has a really nice outdoor area to sit on. Very high quality of the food, both in terms of the products and the preparation. Friendly staff, the prices are not bargains, but absolutely reasonable for what is on offer. A clear recommendation, we'll be back!

The food is very good but the volume inside is almost unbearable. The prices are high. The men's room stinks of dry runoff and the floor is slippery / greasy.

The food is delicious. Gives a good selection on the wine list, especially regional German wines. The service is always nice and takes care of the guests.

A traditional Mainz wine tavern. The ambiance is getting old. Not in the old town but on the busy Rheinstraße. The offer of food is varied and priced rather high. Meenzer dishes are on an extra page in the menu. Everything tastes pretty good :-) The popular in Mainz wine spritzer is offered in different variants at fair prices. My husband and I had a nice evening ...

The prices of the card do not reflect the ambience, let alone the offered food. 15 euros for a sausage with cranberries is already bordering on insolence. I do not want to start with the wine prices. We left after looking at the map.

Great site. The phenomenal treatment, great food and the spectacular wine list. It has a very nice patio to eat outside. There are quite a few Spanish wines but of course I recommend German whites.

This is hands down my favorite place in Mainz to eat. They have a great wine selection (try the Ahr region selections) and the pastas too. I've always been impressed with the food, wine and of course the lovely wait staff. I think about this place days before I arrive and it makes my mouth water. I completely and fully recommend this establishment if you are interested in genuine, delicious German food or just a good meal. I love this place and I know you will too!

Large wine selection. Food is great. No English menu but waitstaff provided good translation and suggestions for what to order.
